Food-iing | Fitzgerald Seafood Restaurant

On nights where we are completely lazy to cook, Fitzgerald Seafood Restaurant is probably our first pick. (Second being Siena's, foodication coming soon)

This was one of the nights that we decided, no cooking, lets eat out. We frequent this place a few too many times which brings me to dishes that we would normally order.

The Hot and Sour soup is a must have, this soup makes its name proud. Pig's Stomach is probably my favourite internal organ, not for everyone, but our entire family loves it. Sweet and Sour pork ribs, slightly different to the ones without bones, but delicious all the same. (My favourite is at James St Kitchen, but as they closed down a while ago, (it is now Meet Fresh) we come here for it instead). Finally, their spinach broth with three types of egg is pretty amazing.

Great for those lazy nights, and with fruits and desserts after the dinner, its a complete package.

Food-iing | Rockpool Bar & Grill

I don't know any other way to start this post than: IT WAS AWESOME.

I know a few people who would disagree with me based on other elements (or lack thereof) but from what I had that day, it was amazing, continuously amazing.

The beef was beautifully grilled, the sides were delicious, even if we had what would be considered normal (can't forget the chips). We managed to be seated in the private room, so there was sufficient lighting for photography. The rest of the restaurant however was dimly lit, with only a small amount of lighting for each table.

I thoroughly enjoyed my night, and will be back, but definitely for special occasions, as prices are not for the faint hearted, especially with only a slice of lemon accompanying a $50 plate of steak.
