Jibber Jabber | Excitement. Iron Man 3

OK, this is a little off topic in terms of my blog, but hey, it falls under the "lifestyle" category, so why not.

I am a major movie fanatic.

I love Action movies, Comedy, Dance, Drama, Musicals, Romance (Which really falls under the drama category) Whats better, if Action, Comedy and Romance comes together as one. That's where Iron man sits for me right now.

I love Iron man in itself, I can't say I'm a comic buff or anything, but I love books to movies or comics to movies. They are interesting, and I like to see how they interpret something from the book. Sometimes its similar to how I see it, sometimes it isn't.

Iron Man for me was a good start, it gives the base of the cake, his back story, his friends, and shows his growth from a weapons manufacturing playboy to a philanthropic playboy. It also creates a back story for his suit and the part where Yinsen dies saying that he is going to see his family is a nice touch to push Tony Stark into the Saviour / Hero frame of mind.

We find out that Obadiah is the villain of this movie (with that beard, who could doubt it?) and I fell in love with Pepper and Rhodey.

I watched Iron man: Armoured Adventures, and I actually really enjoyed it, I like the take on a younger Iron man (Although I'm a big big fan of Robert Downey Jr) and it gives it a fresh outlook on how Iron man could have started.

Iron man two can be said as the "sponge" of the cake. I enjoyed this movie more than the first, as you see a few different versions of the suit.
Tony Stark's outlook on life becomes a little suicidal as the Palladium core in the Arc Reactor in his chest is slowly poisoning him, spurring Rhodey (Now played by Don Cheadle) to take the "War Machine" off Tony.

There is also a reappearance of S.H.I.E.L.D. previously known as the "Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division". In the first movie, it was only Agent Phil Coulson who was featured. However in Iron man 2, Natasha Romanoff and Nick Fury (played by Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson respectively) appears with Romanoff as a supporting character.

Iron man 2 touches base on Tony's relationship with his Father and also Anton Vanko, Howard Stark's old partner when they worked on the Arc Reactor together. Anton Vanko had died in poverty back in Russia and his son Ivan Vanko is looking for revenge. Justin Hammer also makes an appearance as Tony's competitor in the weapons manufacturing field.

I like how they developed Pepper and Rhodey further in this film, with Pepper having a more exciting role in this movie and Tony's relationship with her developing into more than a boss and his assistant. Rhodey transformed from Terrence Howard to Don Cheadle, but I like both actors so I'm not fussed, I'm just bummed for Terrence Howard as he didn't get a chance in the suit.

The Avengers Initiative makes a very brief appearance in the end of this movie, I wasn't too sure what it meant when it appeared, it seemed insignificant at the time.

The Avengers can be said as the "cream" of the cake. It explained a lot in terms of Thor and Iron man. I didn't watch Captain America again to see how it linked into the Avengers, but I like Chris Evans as Captain America.

I enjoyed having Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton, as "normal" agents included in the Avengers. I'm a big fan of Colbie Smulders in How I Met Your Mother, and seeing her in a more serious role as Deputy Director Maria Hill is a refreshing change.

Chris Hemsworth is Fantastic as Thor, (biased as he's Aussie) but really, his emotions as Thor are conveyed very well in terms of coping with his brother Loki's betrayal and his belief that Loki can come away from the dark side.

I did not watch the Edward Norton version of the hulk, but I did watch Eric Bana's. I found that Mark Ruffalo looked a little similar to Eric Bana when he turned into the Hulk, but hey, that's pretty much CGI at work. I like Mark Ruffalo in more light and fluffy roles, so I'm not sure how I like him as The Hulk but with that said, he was amazing in the role.

With all that jibber jabber up top, what I really wanted to convey is, I am super, duper excited for Iron Man 3, it will be the Icing on top, but I hope it won't be the end.

It still needs garnish and more Avengers movies would make good garnish. Sorry for the food/cake comparisons, I think I'm hungry.

Wow that was a long post.
